what's up with the 30 rock former fans current haters? that's a deal breaker. it's funny. they could totally change the basics of that show by switching to the deal breakers show and comcast ownership of nbc. it would be like weeds just jumping ship in what season 4 i think it was, no more little boxes to start with. hell the wire, aka the official hipster's greatest tv show of all time, jumped storyline ships like every season. anyone who can make al gore funny, twice even, has got some skillz.

so the spanish word vovler means to return. it was the great pedro's last film with p. cruz till this new one but i just finally watched it and it's great. at this point i'd still put pedro's talk to her ahead of volver for like his non-outrageous-soapy films but that could be because i was depressed when i saw talk to her and like that catholic guilt thing made it more relatable to me. volver is just a terrific film, every bit as good as say match point and probably a bit better. but who cares on that final point. in the loop is another great film i saw this past week. it's a contemporary brit political satire that also features some u.s.a. ins like james gando. that should get a best screenplay oscar nom if they haven't lost their nerve. so you combine the two titles and you get, to return in the loop which brings the chuckles

the script is at 56 typed pages so i got to get it to around 90 pages but i did check the sundance fest definition of a feature and they say it's anything over 50 minutes if someone was to argue with me about length the script has to be. 1 script page most the time = 1 minute of screen time but not in my case because at the moment, many of the later scenes i only wrote an outline for the scene so writing those out will likely get it to a more normal page number.

so my guy jimmy kimmel last night had on the three main twilight stars and then death cab playing a song from the soundtrack. the song was good and the movie seems like if you like that type of movies then it looks solid. i do say the spectacle of the interview of the three of them was really quite entertaining.

why I'm giving some shout outs, sarah posner jumped on my radar during this healthcare debate. this is her latest tweet, New report details mutually beneficial relationship between US evangelicals and anti-gay zealots in Africa http://bit.ly/3y1not
this is her pubs website, http://religiondispatches.org/bloggers/sarahposner
I found out about the site through sort of the it author of moment, jeff sharlet he of the mega revelatory book, the family which among other things details that again among others the likely future governor of the fair state of TN is a member in a secretive religious group called the family. oh by the way even mainstream christian pubs have finally looked into it the past 6 months and declared it not of their ilk. maybe the chasm springs from the secret meetings of the family about how much to pay off certain women certain members are having affairs with. but it goes so much deeper. so sharlet has a history with a few websites and that led to RD and posner. killing the budda is another website.
