"the non-sense lyric" isn't doing it anymore for micheal stripe but the reason he was doing an interview on npr was they, rem, have a double live album of their older, non-hits and thus more nonsense-y songs. his voice and energy always set them apart for me.

lots of news articles worth writing about from the past week. all from the ny times website which is still totally free. m. dowd had what i thought to start with was a joke column about legalizing sports gambling on newspaper sites as a way to save the newspaper industry, she was at least somewhat serious. newspapers need to get cheaper and more local, i think. frank rich got after the sense of entitlement of the obama admin. and defended the ballon boy dad. t. friedman wrote that to become a new untouchable employee, a variety of skills and a good small business acumen will serve you well. and that iraqi is still the number one forgien policy issue. I forget her name but she wrote about women's well lib and got after olberman ( and fox) for his locker room attitude towards like anne coulter. also there was an article on what a frat house the white house is. but obama seems to cop stuff like that, he just invited the first woman to play in his golf foursome which is of course a good way to have his ear for a few hours. sometimes the cheese slips off the cracker oh and some how twitter is valued at a billion dollars though it generates little to no revuene. so good to have the good ole days back where shit gets so overvalued. now web search sites, at least google's, print money as it seems like they've come up with the most effective form of advertising ever so like when you type in like iphone, you get an ad for an iphone site along with the other relevant sites. also sienna miller seems to be struggling with a next to impossible play on broadway. ...
